The linux disk was in the computer when I asked it to do so, but I pulled it out of the hot swap bay when the computer rebooted, as it was the OS disk that was to be cloned. Now back in the Linux disk seems to find itself renamed or the BIOS looking for some other disk.I can't figure it out..but can't access the disk. If you decide to try out Windows 11 and later want to revert to Windows 10, simply boot from your backup media. Choose the "Restore from System Image" option, and select your Windows 10 backup. Hi. An upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 comes with the following problem: One cannot make a boot or repair disk because there are no Windows 10 system files on the computer, so to speak. Windows 7 files, no doubt, but if you attempt to make a boot disk all you get is instructions for a virtual image. Useless. The clone function seems to depend on the type of disk being cloned. A Basic MBR disk has the clone function available. A Basic GPT disk does not have the clone function available. I didn't check with dynamic disk, but I suspect they won't clone.
